This is a serious question and I'm not even sure I've formed it correctly. I'm interested in how you all answer it, regardless.

In the continuum of learning, which involves making mistakes, success can be learning from those mistakes; being willing to do new things that will give the opportunity to grow/learn (even... ESPECIALLY if you're afraid); not giving up after a sound drubbing; staying graceful about things in winning or losing.
