As of this morning, 1187 members of the MIT community and 626 faculty/lecturers/researchers had signed on.
I continue to be proud of my time at MIT and often proud of the 'tute. This is one of those moments. Like any organization composed of fallible humans, MIT sometimes does not live up to the values that it promotes. But those values exist as goals to strive for and now is a particularly good time to be reminded of that.
