the most vivid memories of you are of the singletail, but one of my favorites is of the first time I remember us speaking, at Arisia. You were holding Liam, who was tired/ cranky/ tired, and I don't remember the words exchanged, but it's my "first" memory of you, despite there having been others before it.

The random memory that came to mind is the first one. Circa 1989 you posted a job listing to some newsgroup or mailing list I read, and the listing was so cool, striking me a wonderfully aware of the future of computing as a social enterprise, especially coming from whatever big corp it was at the time. And later, when I moved to Boston and ran into you, it made a lot more sense, that it was about you having a serious clue, not the company.

I remember arriving at a kissing-themed party and having you walking up the stairs behind David and I...and you staring at my butt and you made me stop on the stairs so you could look more. Very flattering.

Lying in bed next to you in a hotel room in Denver, writing you a poem while you slept. When you woke I was still looking at you and writing. You asked me what I was doing and I told you then gave you the poem. Your smile lit up the room and my heart and the sex after was like a fire through all of me.

Your smile continues to light up my heart and the room. I hope you never stop smiling that that, it's magical, just like your kisses.

Yes it was. That garden was behind the house in Davis Sq and we sat there in part so as not to shock the housemates with our discussion of the playparty that evening.
