The random memory that came to mind is the first one. Circa 1989 you posted a job listing to some newsgroup or mailing list I read, and the listing was so cool, striking me a wonderfully aware of the future of computing as a social enterprise, especially coming from whatever big corp it was at the time. And later, when I moved to Boston and ran into you, it made a lot more sense, that it was about you having a serious clue, not the company.
