It so much looks like they've captured the essence of it. I infer that they've ditched the original idea of rotating Number Two, which makes me wonder if they're even going to address the "Who is Number One?" question. But it does look like they've got at least the right flavor here...

I'm kind of OK with Ian McKellan being the primary bad guy. And Jim C- I've not seen much of since he was in Count of Monte Cristo, which I've always liked. He does the desperate thing well.

I have to remember to catch up with re-watching the original, which they let you do (yay!)on the AMC site.

And let's hope AMC is leaving a little behind. Ian may just be the first of them.
