L has decided he wants to be Yoda for this Halloween. Having failed to find appropriate bits to make said costume I decide to stop by the store and see if I can buy a commercial one. I call Pygment to confirm this purchase and she suggests we should ask L. The conversation from my side of the phone:

Pygment: Daddy found a Yoda costume at the store. Do you want it or should we continue trying to make one?
...
...
...
Pygment: No, it does not come with a real light saber.

(And it turns out he doesn't want to be Yoda after all. He wants to be a generic Jedi.)

"so your child..." but I could honestly see [livejournal.com profile] sweetmmeblue using the same kind of logic...

He's definitely the child of Geeks. :-)

This is a specialty of [livejournal.com profile] cloakmaker's, but I don't expect they're cheap. (website here.)

The world must be a fabulous place to someone who believes it's possible to buy a real light saber! I thought I'd preserved a lot of sense of wonder for a middle-aged professional woman ... but your L clearly leaves me in his dust. :-)
