drwex... but I can't quite join in yet. Just off the phone with the car shop and the repairs will be over double what was previously expected. Most of which is due to the discovery of needing new brakes.
Part of me is thinking "hey, you COULD discover you need new brakes by having them fail at 65MPH on the highway when you really need them." And then there's the part that is looking in dismay at our bank balance, once again.
