ARGH. I'm having this first argument with one of my programmers right now. She wants me to close every sprint with a build. That is actually not a requirement to close a sprint. A sprint is a unit of time. It is *supposed* to end with a product, but that is not a requirement. Hitting a time mark is the closure.

Yeah, this is why you have "done" criteria for every story in the sprint and you grade stories by whether or not they've passed those criteria.
